Generation mix and carbon intensity from the Carbon Intensity API (NESO and University of Oxford). Interconnector flows and metered generation from Elexon BMRS (Insights). Embedded solar estimates from Sheffield Solar's PV Live (University of Sheffield); embedded wind estimates from NESO. Power-station locations and capacities from the DESNZ Renewable Energy Planning Database and the Digest of UK Energy Statistics (DUKES); DNO region boundaries supported by National Energy System Operator Open Data. The optional wind overlay is meteorological data (~80 m wind) from the NOAA/NWS Global Forecast System (public domain) — weather, not generation. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
